A clear plan begins
with the right questions.
We help property owners, builders and project teams turn proposed improvements into well-organized drawings, with defined deliverables and a straightforward review process.

Practical drawing support.
Built around your property.
Site Plans NC is a North Carolina-focused service website operated by Site Plans LLC. We help customers organize the information needed for site plans and related permit drawing requests.
Every job begins with understanding what exists, what you want to change and what the local reviewing authority requests. We then define the drawing set, file formats and exclusions in writing before work begins.
Our purpose is to make technical drawing services easier to understand, without suggesting that a standard plot plan replaces surveying, engineering or the city’s permit review.

For the people planning, building and improving.
From the homeowner adding a backyard structure to the contractor coordinating multiple drawing sheets, we focus on clear requirements and useful plans.

See Starting PricingA better process is more than a pretty drawing.
The difference is in how we define the work, collect the inputs and make the deliverables understandable before you order.
Project-specific deliverables
We discuss the project and identify the drawing sheets before confirming the fee.
Property records considered
Surveys, sketches, parcel information and permit comments help define the source material.
Clear inclusions and exclusions
We distinguish drafting work from surveying, engineering and permit filing.
Simple review checkpoints
Clients can mark the draft and confirm the proposed site layout before final delivery.
Practical drawing formats
PDF is a common deliverable; DWG and other formats are included when agreed in the scope.
Permit-comment follow-up
Written review comments can be assessed for in-scope corrections or additional services.

Drafting and licensed services are not the same thing.
A site plan can describe the existing property and the proposed improvement using suitable source information. It does not, by itself, establish certified boundaries or replace professional engineering.
Layouts, existing and proposed work, labels, dimensions and agreed PDF/CAD outputs based on source documents.
Certified surveys, engineering, sealed plans and other services requiring licensure must be performed or reviewed by authorized professionals.
Final permit acceptance is determined by the city, county or other authority having jurisdiction. We do not guarantee an approval.

Browse All FAQsIs Site Plans NC a North Carolina government office?
No. Site Plans NC is a private drafting and plan-coordination service operated by Site Plans LLC. Permit decisions and requirements are determined by the relevant city or county.
Do you work only on residential site plans?
No. In addition to residential site plans, we can assess architectural, structural, MEP, grading and drainage, commercial and permit-correction requests. The written quote identifies the applicable scope.
Are your drawings a substitute for a property survey?
No. Drafting from available property information is not a certified boundary or topographic survey. When a survey is required, it must be prepared by an appropriately licensed professional.
Can Site Plans NC provide signed and sealed plans?
Professional review or sealing can be discussed when required, but it is never automatic. Any regulated services are subject to acceptance and completion by appropriately authorized professionals.
Will you handle comments from the permit reviewer?
You can forward the written reviewer comments and submitted plan. We assess revisions within your agreed drafting scope and identify additional work separately.
Do you guarantee a permit will be approved?
No. Site Plans NC prepares drawings to the agreed scope, while the local authority reviews and decides on permit acceptance.
Your project is specific.
